Privacy notice

This notice covers the Rachel Swart Fund website. The Rachel Swart Fund (NPO 002-955, PBO 130000896) is responsible for the personal information collected through it, under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

Analytics cookies

If you click Accept on the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics to see how people use the site: which pages they visit, how they found us, the type of device and browser, their approximate location (country and city) and which contact links they click. We use this only to improve the site. It isn’t used for advertising, and it doesn’t tell us who you are.

Google Analytics sets cookies named _ga that last up to two years. Google processes the data for us and may store it outside South Africa. We keep it for 14 months.

If you click Decline, or don’t choose, no analytics cookies are set and nothing is sent to Google. You can change your choice at any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page.

When you contact us

If you email or WhatsApp us, we use your name, number or email address and what you tell us only to reply to you and help with your request.

The device application form is a Google Form. What you enter goes to us through Google, and we use it to assess your application and contact you about it.

Your rights

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. Email info@rachelswart.org.za.
