Christopher
Christopher is a 35 year old man from Cape Town with cerebral palsy which has resulted in him being paralysed from the neck down to the extent that he was totally dependent on others to move around in a manual wheelchair. The Rachel Swart Fund provided him with a motorized wheelchair which he can control with his chin. That gave him the freedom to move around where and when he wanted, which opened up a whole different lifestyle for him, participating in social activities. On the photo is Christopher with his wife Tuletu also physically disabled. They met at Turfhall Cheshire Home and got married in September 2007.
